We use to frequent Ruki's Thursday nights at Kerryman for years - its actually where my husband and I reacquainted ourselves! So when we started to plan our wedding, Ruki was BY FAR the first choice! I mean have you ever been to one of his DJ events? You can't leave the dance floor for a drink because you dont want to miss the dancing! He mixes. Not just play music with transitions, he actually mixes. But we were like, does he even know how to DJ a wedding? Well apparently he is a Wedding DJ as well! AMAZING!!! When he met with us, he put our mind at ease on choosing him. He was upfront with us with what he can do and cannot do - which worked great for us. He doesn't do all the video djing stuff, but we could care less about that. He didn't have a dhol player, but could recommend one or work with any we hired. He worked so well with the one we hired. I mean, if we had Ruki, that's ALL we cared about. He knows how to keep the dance floor packed and play the music we would want. Ruki is also exceptional when it comes to wedding planning. From the wedding tool he has you fill out, he knows the timing of all the events. He keeps track of the timing and let's you know when you need to move to the next item. He is another set of eyes that you need! I am so glad we went with Ruki for our wedding events and that he was luckily available! He was great to work with, kept the dance floor packed (One of our guest told us that he couldn't believe that 90% of the guests were on the dance floor till the end of the night), worked with a Baraat that was dealing with Rain, and went out of his way for us - DJ our afterparty! I recently had a great experience with Ruki Doyle from Dream House! I was the Chair for a charity Wine Social event for the Ronald McDonald House at the Palmer House Hilton Grand Ballroom. Ruki and his team were very easy to work with and it was nice that they already had experience doing events in the Grand Ballroom. We hired Ruki because we were looking to take our event to the next level and create more of a party atmosphere and gradually 'ramp' the night up over 3-4 hours. I was extremely happy with the music selection and he was able to appeal to the wide demographic range of our attendees and keep it tasteful. We received numerous compliments about the event, particularly the music and pulse of the night. Another bonus of hiring Ruki was his flexibility. We had a situation during the event and decided to extend the event an extra hour to last until midnight. Unfortunately, we didn't consult with him beforehand but he kept playing anyway. So grateful that he kept the party going, no questions asked! I will definitely recommend using Ruki and Dream House for future events.

Ruki provided his services for Johnson & Johnson at a clients General Managers Conference in April of 2014. Our booth was rocking and attracted so many people because of the amazing music spun by Ruki. Everyone was dancing by and in the booth - it was infectious!! It really made out booth a success! At set up the day prior, we discovered an elevated table was not ordered, even though we requested it. Ruki's assistant got on the phone to him immediately and rectified the situation. The correct table was there within a few hours and set up. THAT IS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERIVCE!! We highly recommend Ruki and Dream House to anyone requiring a top notch DJ. Ruki, where are our CD's of the music you were spinnng?!?

Ruki DJ'd my cousins wedding in September and was amazing!! He mixed in oldies with new music and had my grandparents dancing most of the night. When my now husband and I decided to cancel our destination wedding and have a smaller wedding in Chicago I didn't even think about hiring another DJ, we got Ruki's info and booked him right away! Our wedding was amazing at Floating World Gallery with a large part being because of Ruki! He kept me informed with everything going on and even though we got behind schedule due to some parking issues around the venue, it didn't even feel like it thanks to Ruki being on top of everything. He played some amazing music and kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night! I can't say enough great things about him! Thank you for making our wedding memorable Ruki!!

We used Dreamhouse for our wedding in April and our DJ Ruki had an amazing ability to keep the crowd hopping! He was able to mix a combination of new and old school music to keep everyone in the room engaged! Ruki also did a great job of making sure our event stayed on track and did a wonderful job as the MC!

Ruki was the perfect DJ for our wedding over Memorial Day weekend. He was recommended by a friend, and even though our wedding was in the eastern shore of MD - we decided to fly him out for one night to spin at our wedding. And that was easily the best decision we made! People were raving about the range of music he played, his mixing between songs, his ability to play for the crowd and read their energy. Our dancefloor was packed the ENTIRE time - 2.5 hours of nonstop dancing. He was easy to work with and played the right range of music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We would have no problem recommending him again to anyone!

Ruki recently DJ'd my wedding and I would HIGHLY recommend him for any event in the future. He is extremely professional throughout every step of the way. When the big day came, he did a great job keeping the timeline on track, organizing the intros to the reception and, most importantly, keeping everyone on the dance floor all night. Ruki did a great job of transitioning from various genres of music and also including some great mixes. I can almost guarantee that all our friends that attended will be reaching out for Riki's contact info when they are in need of a DJ, so I'm writing this review for everyone else that may be considering him for their next event. Book him if he's available!

Dj Ruki is by far the best DJ that I have witnessed in action. He reads the crowd like no other and makes sure to play songs that keep everyone entertained and dancing. He is like a magnetic force that keeps everyone on the dance floor. My friend was supposed to leave the reception early because she had another event, but she couldn't stop dancing 😀 Hire him if you want your special day to be a party that none of your guests will forget.

Short Story: Hire Ruki, chat with him once, and then relax knowing he will create exactly the wedding you hope for. Working with him was an unbelievable experience; he was unlike any other wedding DJ. In fact, I wouldn't describe him as a wedding DJ, but rather a top-notch club DJ whose sampling and mixing skills far exceed the wedding industry standard. Long Story: In terms of crafting the kind of ambiance and experience that you dream of for your wedding day, a DJ is second only to the venue, (perhaps even more important than the venue). When selecting the vendors for our Sept 2013 wedding, my now-husband and I had only online review sites like yelp/theknot/weddingwire to make our decisions since we were planning the event from the East Coast. Needless to say, we were more than a little concerned that we had made the right selections. Initially, we had booked a different DJ company, but decided to switch to Ruki at Dream House Productions after we realized that we were uncomfortable with the idea of working with a DJ company rather than an individual. These fears were compounded after we attended my brother's wedding earlier this year when the DJ that arrived managed to botch almost everything they had so carefully planned for. Admittedly, I had a few miscommunications with Ruki in the days leading up to the wedding day and I was put on edge a few time, but I will say that every time I finally got in touch with Ruki on the phone, he put me at ease. I was reassured that he was a professional who would be capable of managing the situation on the day-of. What I didn't realize was that on our wedding night, Ruki would blow it out of the water! Ruki was PHENOMENAL. From the moment he showed up until the very last second, he understood exactly what we wanted and executed it with the highest degree of precision. He knew that because we were having the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in the same location, that we would need to rely on the music to create the right kind of magic for each moment, and he was the most talented DJ I have ever encountered. When the dance floor opened, he kept it PACKED until the absolute last song, with everyone from the very young to the very old finding a moment or a reason to get out and shimmy. Unlike traditional wedding DJs, Ruki is a true club DJ who adeptly samples different songs, blends them seamlessly, and really keeps up the party spirits. He has an uncanny ability to read the crowd and deliver what it wants (in our case, a mix of Motown, 80s, and contemporary dance). Now that I have the benefit of some hindsight and a few nights of sleep, I realize that what a bride and groom really need in a vendor is someone who understands what you want and will execute it with minimal direction and interference. In this regard, Ruki stood out among all of the vendors we worked with,and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for any wedding or occasion.

One of our main goals for our wedding was to create and experience for our guest that they will never forget, and most importantly to have a dance party! Ruki really helped make this happen for us and some. Not only did he bring down the house, but many of our guests commented on how original his selections were and 'not your typical line-up' at wedding. Not only did he make the 'Chicago House kids' happy, but he also had options for our Israeli guests who came from so far. We would highly recommend Ruki for all occasions. We were concered with the logistics of flying in a DJ for a destinatiin wrdding, but Ruki is so well commected with his vendors that everything went beyond smoothly. Thanks for the awesome night Ruki!
