BEST WEDDING DJ EVER. Hands down the best. Everyone at our wedding was asking us who he was and where we found him. We had a Persian/Jewish wedding and asked him to mix in this music along with current music and hip hop. The dance floor was never empty. I felt like the whole night was taken care of and there was nothing to worry about. Ruki is so professional and he worked so hard to make our day special. He is more than just a DJ but he is a wedding coordinator as well, helping with our timeline and making sure everyone was in place for things like first dances and cake cutting. I would recommend him to anyone. So thrilled with the way things turned out! Thanks Ruki you are the best!!!!!

We recently hired Ruki/DreamHouse Productions as our wedding DJ at a restaurant in River North and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Ruki knocked it out of the park and had people dancing all night - even guests that we had never expected to see out on the dance floor! Working with Ruki was extremely easy and not only did he play the music that he knew we loved, but he was able to easily read the crowd and play music that everyone enjoyed (and easily switched gears if something wasn't working). Ruki DJ'd our wedding in May and he did a great job. Our dance floor was packed the entire time. We received numerous complements on how great he was. He also facilitated our audio needs for the ceremony/toasts/etc. Recommended.

Ruki Dole from Dream House Production recently DJ'ed our wedding in Chicago. We were extremely happy with how he coordinated the events at the reception. Not only that, Ruki was able to provide sound systems for both the ceremony and cocktail hour (both were in slightly separate locations from the reception). Most importantly, the music during the reception was incredible. Our guests loved the music and we were ecstatic that Ruki was able to DJ our wedding. We would recommend him to anyone.

Working with Ruki for our wedding was great. When it comes to the wedding planning and everything that comes with it, working with people you can trust and rely on really saves the day. That's the way it went with Ruki - we filled out the online tool describing what we were looking for and let him take it from there. Having worked with him before, I knew I could rely on him and focus on other things. He crushed - the music during dinner was perfectly subdued (but not boring) and then the dance floor was PACKED all night with people of all ages having fun. Would definitely recommend Dream House for anyone having a wedding or corporate event of any size.

Ruki was the perfect choice for a DJ for our wedding. He played an insane mix of music that covered all spectrums and kept people dancing for the entire night- we kept hearing throughout the whole night that folks thought the music selections were incredible. He additionally coordinated the music for our ceremony (and I had some pretty specific requests) and it went off without a hitch! Overall, the music was incredible, and the price was really really reasonable! HIGHLY recommended.

If you're a soon-to-be-wed couple, here's just some general advice. Make a schedule for the day, rehearse that schedule, put people in charge of things , and hire someone to keep the whole show running on time. That being said, if none of that ends up happening, don't worry--Ruki will probably just cover it all for you like he did for us. The entire evening, toasts, special dances, and the very brief ceremony all ran on time thanks to Ruki and his staff. Plus, ahead of time, the setup staff was awesome about rearranging the setup last minute. As for the music, I saved the best for last. I would describe my wife and I as "We're not hipsters, but everyone who's not from Chicago calls us hipsters." We have particular music tastes and our wedding was mostly young people and family. So we wanted this wedding to be about 15 minutes of ceremony followed by three hours of dance party. Our first concern was having some cornball Top 40 music that everyone rolled their eyes at. Our second was obviously that people wouldn't dance. Luckily, as soon as the music started, neither of those were even close to an issue. People from grandparents to college kids were dancings their nuts off and everyone just kept telling us how awesome the music was. It was energetic, it was sweaty, it was awesome. Better yet, before the show starts, the tools on the Dreamhouse website make personalizing the night a snap, and every meeting with Ruki was friendly and super helpful. I'm rambling on, and probably saying what all the other reviews already did, but seriously he's the best. If you get an iPod for a DJ, everyone will hate you including me.

Ruki did a great job at our wedding! We were worried people wouldn't dance bc it was a dry wedding but Ruki kept the dance floor packed the whole time!! He did a good job picking songs to suit the mood of the crowd. Highly recommend.

Ruki was the DJ for our July wedding and is the epitome of a professional. He was a pleasure to deal with from the beginning, always very responsive, and quick to solve any concerns. His online tools make it very simple to prepare and manage requests. Everything was a breeze. The day of the wedding, Ruki quietly arrived and set up. When our ceremony musicians never arrived he calmly prepared to step in. Emotions were running high to say the least and Ruki was incredibly calming. Even more importantly, Ruki kept our dance floor packed the entire night. He read the crowd and catered to them the the entire evening. Multiple guests commented on how fantastic he was. This is a crowd that is quick to knock a DJ they don't like. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Ruki again for any event. He created the most perfect ambiance for our wedding reception. We have many fantastic memories from that night for years to come. I hope we have a reason to work with him again in the future.
