We flew Ruki out to Palm Springs for our wedding and he absolutely crushed it. Perfect combination of what our crowd needed: a good dose of hip hop smashed with a nice blend of classic music from various genres. Ruki for President – he is a master of his art form.

I hired Ruki for my wedding recption this past January and he rocked it! Everyone LOVED him and he knew how to cater to my crowd. I had mainly young hospitality/entertainment industry as guests and he knew how to play all the most popular hits along with some good hip hop. And for those who were older, he played a good mix of oldies for them, but ones that younger ones knew and enjoyed as well. There was no awkwardness in his music selection, especially since I didn’t have the time to create a playlist. I’m glad I trusted him with the selection. I don’t think I would’ve done a better job since I didn’t know most of the names of the songs, but knew the songs themselves! He is definitely well worth the money spent. And since he DJ’s as a profession and does it nearly everyday at local nighclubs, bars, corporate events, etc., he is really experienced with all age groups and all genres of music. I’ve hired him in the past for my nightclub as well and I was worried that he may not be able to conform to a wedding scenario, but obviously, I didn’t know that he was doing weddings for a while now. So it was a pleasant surprise and he did an A+++++ job! He was a great MC too, which alot of wedding DJs can’t do. Usually you have to hire a separate MC, but I got two for one! Ruki played our wedding in October 2011 and it was fantastic. Everyone at our wedding made it a point to come up to us and tell us that he was the best wedding DJ they’ve ever heard. We had all ages up on the floor throughout the night. The best part – he flew down to Charleston, SC to do the gig. We spotted him one night while out at the Kerryman and he worked with us throughout the whole process. Even helping us on the equipment rentals and allowing us to see him at work at another wedding. Very easy to work with, flexible and well worth the cost – especially compared to bands and even local DJs in the market of our venue. Ruki is great and we do our best to catch him as often at other gigs. Professional, flexible and most of all great at what he does.

I worked with Dream House for a corporate event I planned for my former company in February and I have nothing but praise for the company’s creativity and professionalism. Ruki took my very little and very general direction (I had about a zillion things going for this event) and played fun, creative mixes to get the crowd pumped up. Far from some cheesy DJ, Ruki’s work was modern–offering a new twist on old classics while still providing the familiarity and fun of the original music so all ages could recognize the tunes and enjoy themselves. Ruki arrived on time, and made adjustments and fulfilled requests throughout the event at a moment’s notice. I can’t recommend his work highly enough!

Nearly 2 years prior to our actual wedding date, we booked DJ Ruki and Dream House Productions. Having heard Ruki DJ in Chicago, we knew exactly who we wanted to MC our black tie wedding Los Angeles. While we had live music during the ceremony and small portion of the reception, having Ruki DJ provided an element of entertainment for our guests that cannot be accomplished by most DJs. Ruki kept the entire reception flowing while highlighting special moments like mother/son and father/daughter dances, did an excellent job at all introductions, and kept our guests of all ages on the dance floor all night long. As one guest put it, it was the most fun she’s ever had at a wedding. Dream House Productions will not disappoint and we are so grateful to have had Ruki at our wedding!

I am about 7 months from my wedding and I couldn’t imagine ANYONE but Ruki from DreamHouse Productions doing my wedding. It’s black-tie optional in Newport, Rhode Island. It would (by most standards) be most appropriate to have a band, but I’m a DJ kind of girl on the dance floor. And only Ruki would do! I am a regular at the Kerryman bar, where I first recognized his talent. He will actually be a surprise to all our Chicago friends (because they all know him – he’s kind of a celebrity), and this is one of the things I’m looking forward to most. DJ Ruki is by far the best DJ in Chicago! He dj’d our wedding in July 2011 and all my guests are still talking about it! Actually, 4 couples booked him for their wedding – that is how good he is! Ruki DJ’d my wedding at Hotel Allegro Chicago in October 2010. He has a great online tool to help plan the music for the evening, and is great at keeping every dancing the whole night through. Very easy to work with, and very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend Dream House Production and Ruki to ANYONE that needs music for ANY event.
