In reply to Bess. We met Ruki at Kerryman in Chicago, IL, and this is where the story begins. About 5 years ago, almost evey Saturday night, my now beautiful wife and I would dance the night away upstairs. This is where we could go to let loose and listen to an amazing collection of songs that so smoothly transitioned into eachother continuing to increase the energy song after song. When we got engaged, we started shopping around to determine if we were going to have a live band or DJ. Ruki made the decision very easy after we met with him in Chicago to talk about our wedding. We met for drinks, and Ruki generously bought us a few shots of Jameson to help seal the deal. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and we laugh now thinking about how we even thought about having a live band. We had about 270 guests, and it felt at times the entire guest list was on the dance floor. He worked so well with the wedding party, and all the other vendors who helped make the night so perfect. He truly controlled the night and was outstanding when it came to the time management and flow of the wedding. We are still having friends and family call us asking for his information because he astonished the crowd with his ability to feel the mood of the night. He knew what the people would like and more importantly he catered to us as the main attraction. We could not have been more pleased with his professionalism, organization, and sound and system quality. You seriously cannot go wrong with Ruki! We honestly consider him as a friend. We still and will continue to visit him at Kerryman on those crazy late Saturday nights!

Ruki was AMAZE!!!!! We actually had another DJ booked for our wedding and then we met Ruki at a St. Patrick’s Day event. He was SO GOOD we broke our contract with the 1st DJ during our planning process and lost the deposit. It was the BEST decision we made. Ruki was wonderful from start to finish. He kept our guests dancing all night and mixed the songs perfectly. He played everything that was important to us and our family as well. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding and we owe a large portion of that to Ruki. Hoping to throw another event soon, just to book him again!!!!

We hired Ruki for our wedding – and it was one of the best decisions we made. He is professional, nice, relaxed, and great at his job. Living in St. Louis – I was a little nervous about hiring vendors from out of town but Ruki made it very easy. He was flexible with times to talk to us to make sure the music and experience was what we wanted. And it definitely was perfect!! He was great about adjusting the music to the crowd. He had everyone out on the dance floor until the very end. He was able to play music that my 18 year old cousin liked and my new in-laws would dance to! After our wedding – I have received many compliments about my DJ with multiple people telling me that was the best wedding music they have ever heard! I would highly recommend Ruki – you will not regret it!!

We recently hired Ruki/DreamHouse Productions as our wedding DJ at a restaurant in River North and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Ruki knocked it out of the park and had people dancing all night – even guests that we had never expected to see out on the dance floor! Working with Ruki was extremely easy and not only did he play the music that he knew we loved, but he was able to easily read the crowd and play music that everyone enjoyed (and easily switched gears if something wasn’t working). We had Ruki DJ at our wedding in August and it was amazing. Ruki had the entire ballroom dancing until the lights came on. That is what Ruki does! We heard of Dream House Productions through a friend and went to the Kerryman at Erie and Clark to check the DJ out. We couldn’t stop dancing. He mixes everything! When Ruki is on, everybody is dancing and everyone is having a great time. If you want the best party, you have to give this guy a call. Highly recommended!!!

Ruki was the DJ for our July wedding and is the epitome of a professional. He was a pleasure to deal with from the beginning, always very responsive, and quick to solve any concerns. His online tools make it very simple to prepare and manage requests. Everything was a breeze. The day of the wedding, Ruki quietly arrived and set up. When our ceremony musicians never arrived he calmly prepared to step in. Emotions were running high to say the least and Ruki was incredibly calming. Even more importantly, Ruki kept our dance floor packed the entire night. He read the crowd and catered to them the the entire evening. Multiple guests commented on how fantastic he was. This is a crowd that is quick to knock a DJ they don’t like. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Ruki again for any event. He created the most perfect ambiance for our wedding reception. We have many fantastic memories from that night for years to come. I hope we have a reason to work with him again in the future.

After going to a wedding where Ruki was the DJ, I knew he would do a great job for my wedding. And on the wedding day he obviously didn’t disappoint. Ruki was incredibly organized and accommodating to all of our needs and requests. He took the time and was very professional before the wedding making sure we did not have to worry about anything on a rather hectic day. He not only played everything we wanted to hear, he does a great job we guests request. Ruki went above and beyond my wildest expectations. Ruki was an awesome DJ! We had him at our wedding in July and everything was great! He went an extra mile to make sure everything was running smoothly, from ceremony music, dinner music and made sure the dance floor was packed all night! Ruki has an awesome link for the bride and groom to make playlist of must play and do not play music, which was great to have. He also had an ipad for our guest to come up and make requests throughout the night. He is very personable and made sure all our wishes for our wedding music were played out. I would definitely recommend him for any event!

I just used dream house production for my wedding and cannot speak highly enough of Ruki and what an amazing job he did. I had a hard time deciding what type of music i wanted played but gave Ruki a few options of songs i like and out of that he created a fabulous playlist that kept the dance floor packed the entire night! There was literally no moment where people were not dancing, and the energy was incredible! I cannot tell you how many of my guests told me this was the best dj they had ever heard! He also did an amazing job of emceeing the whole night and making sure things ran smoothly and on time. I’ve used Ruki for fundraisers and multiple weddings including my own. I’ve recommended him to both friends and family who have all had the same awesome experiences I have had. When couples look for DJ’s for their wedding one thing that is overlooked is professionalism and microphone presence. How many wedding’s have you been to and the DJ thinks it’s amateur comedy hour or that the guests are there for him/her? Ruki is extremely classy and professional. He is rock-solid on the microphone with announcements and most importantly making sure all the reception activities (wedding party, intro, cake cutting, speeches, dances) run smoothly, orderly and efficiently. Preparation for these activities often falls through the cracks, but not with Ruki. When we met with him he had all the right questions for us that we never would have thought of and consequently he gave us the right answers too! He made it so we didn’t have to think or worry about any of the reception activities.
